We needed to bring the values and beliefs of an organic farmer to life. A farming futurist, founder of Kamut International and progressive leader for regenerative organic agriculture, Bob Quinn has an important story to tell. Now he is telling that story in his new book “Grain by Grain”.
At first we launched a blog, providing most of the original content, and liaised with a writer/photographer in Montana for the specific farming posts. Bob’s authentic down to earth narrative resonates with his audience. Sharing the ups and downs of life on the farm, his drive to create a sustainable and self-sufficient organic farm model and his global view of food production gives visitors a unique glimpse of how one man can make a difference.
We definitely hit a nerve with the public. People want to know where their food comes from, and the organic growth we were able to achieve with Bob’s blog and level of engagement on his Facebook page were a testament to that. So, now we are in full swing moving the needle on Bob’s newly launched Instagram account to help him achieve his goals for Grain by Grain and his book tour.
When we launched Bob’s Facebook page in April 2015, we were able to grow it to over 19,000 followers organically over a nine-month period, with most posts receiving hundreds of likes and comments. We had achieved our initial goals. Facebook has changed their algorithms many times since then, making organic growth impossible. Our new Instagram campaign is gaining traction and in only three months we have achieved significant growth – from 184 followers to 2518. Our goal by the end of Bobs 12-month book tour is 50,000!
